Bifrost - Recent Policy

Cloaks

Please do your best to wear a cloak of an appropriate color.   We want to publicize our novel rank system as soon as possible. Your cooperation is appreciated.  At a minimum, Guild members should wear the Guild Emblem proudly as soon as they are able.

Tradeskills

Success in combat and in RvR is highly dependent on equipment. Some members of the guild are dedicating their time to advance their tradeskills and create quality equipment for us. Whenever possible, please purchase items from guildmates and encourage others to do so. Player-crafter armor is superior in adjusted Armor Factor to merchant armor. Also, we need tradeskills greater than 400 to construct seige weapons for RvR.

To this end, any member that wishes to promise 50 points of improvement in a tradeskill each week (beyond a 'starting' skill of 100) may receive financial support from the Provisioner. Please contact an officer in-game for more information.

Also, all members are asked to consider contributing to the guild war chest. Presently, this chest will be used to subsidize tradeskills and to create healer/shaman armor (see below).

For Healers and Shamen

We realize that groups are occasionally (!) wiped out and that healers and shamen often /release to return and recall their groupmates from Valhalla. As this results in costly constitution loss for these folk, we will do our best to try and offset this.

To this end, and toward the goal of better protected healing classes, members of Bifrost who are healers and shaman will recieve free armor upgrades from guild armorsmiths. To receive an upgrade, just let a guild officer know when your armor has turned 'blue'. We would ask that your return your old armor to the guild armorsmith so that it may be re-used or salvaged if possible. We would also ask that all members respect this policy and help support guild tradeskills.

Short-term Goals

Lets try to get enough members RvR ready so that we may supplement an established guild on a realm visit. This is not a mandate to power-level!

Also, if someone would take some initiative and organize some guild events it would be greatly appreciated! Let an officer know your plans, and they can be posted here or in a guild message. Thank you in advance.
